MCC Program Officer in evaluation and technical assistance mission

The Program Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) for Financial and Private Sector Development, Sarah Crawford, will be visiting Cape Verde July 19-30 to, among other objectives, assess the performance of the Agriculture Credit Line implemented by Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs), support in the preparation of Grant Agreements to be signed with the MFIs as well as review the implementation of activities under Private Sector Development Project.

During her stay Sarah Crawford will meet officials from MCA-Cape Verde, Caixa Económica de Cabo Verde, Microfinance Institutions and beneficiaries in the agricultural project intervention areas to discuss aspects related to the Credit Line managed by MFIs, under the MCA-CV Agricultural Project. Visits to agricultural project intervention areas on the islands of Fogo and Santo Antao are also planned.
